Yamaha Officially Launches CD-N500 Network CD Player In The US


After its launch at the IFA, everyone can now take hold of the new Yamaha Corporation of America AV Division’s product dubbed as the CD-N500 Network CD Player.

Through its Network Player Controller app for iOS, Android and the Kindle Fire, the streaming of songs from smartphones, tablets, PC, NAS drives, and many other sources is very much possible with the device. Its gapless playback feature offers best audio experiences by getting rid of pauses whenever a track is transferred from a source to another.

Further, the Network Player Controller’s Music Play function makes a fast and clear wireless playing of music tracks on handset devices. It also supports Internet radio broadcasts playback from anywhere in the world through the vTuner radio station database.

The player sports a front panel USB digital connection for iPod, iPhone, iPad and USB devices. It was designed with left-right symmetrical audio circuitry. Such feature ensures audio signal clarity since it allows the shortest circuit path for audio signal travel.

In addition, Yamaha’s Hi-Fi concept and “Natural Sound” approach lets listeners experience music in their precise standards. It also includes a 192 kHz/32-bit Burr-Brown high precision DAC that produces high-end audio quality.
