Sony is ushering in a new well-lined high-definition compress POV (point-of-view) that apparently has yet to be named. Sony was thoughtful enough to give us a sneak peek of the much awaited gadget. It is actually a high-definition wearable video camera that is diminutive and lightweight.
Sony stated that it will put up Sony’s trademark SteadyShot image stabilization technology. Just in case you didn’t recognize, SteadyShot utilizes motion sensing element to assure that images will remain still as far as possible. Sony’s Modern “action camera” will also frolic an Exmor R CMOS image sensor and an ultra-wide angle Carl Zeiss Tessar lens which is pretty awesome if you ask me.
Whether you are skydiving, kayaking, bungee jumping, para-sailing you’re sure to capture top notch high-quality video that you can show to your family and friends. This camera is a slick gadget for extreme sports aficionados.
The camera is in casing in a waterproof housing so the camera dynamical do its job even out the most uttermost surroundings. It’s about time that GoPro and Contour (makers of wearable waterproof and shockproof camera/camcorders such as helmet cameras) got a competition in this field but should these two companies need to worry that Sony is joining the bandwagon of wearable cameras.
Regrettably, there’s no news yet of when will the camera will be launch and how much will it be. All the same, the people over at Sony assured that they’ll keep us posted with the latest turn of events for this exciting gadget for now stay tuned as we bring you more updates.
