Do you want a tablet or a smartphone? Well, if you can’t decide, then why not choose a better option? For example, a new tablet smartphone!
As we all know, tablet smartphones (aka tabletphones) are devices that features a combination of tablet and smartphone functions. These kinds of devices are great for those who would like to keep the features of a tablet along with the ability to send text messages or make calls.
And speaking of which, Pantech has recently announced its latest model of Sky tablet smartphone. The device will be called as Pantech Sky Vega No.5 and will sport a 5 inch display with an 800 x 480 resolution.

Other than this, the new Sky Vega No.5 will also be packed with a 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8660 dual-core processor. It will also be equipped with a 16GB of memory, a 1GB of DDR2 RAM, an 8 mega pixel camera (with 1080p video capture), a front facing camera and an 802.11 b/g/n of Wi-Fi. It will also sport a 14.4 Mbps of HSPA+ connection along with an SDHC card slot.

As for its availability, the tablet-smartphone will be released in China and Korea later this month. No word has been stated regarding the tabletphone’s price and worldwide launch. So, stay tuned.
