We’ve heard CES spills about next gen TVs, phones and tablets but not much about household appliances like Samsung’s robotic vacuum cleaner. Unfortunately, the South Korean tech giant isn’t too generous on giving details about this gizmo called Smart Tango Corner Clean before the trade show; though we’re happy about bits and pieces of information announced. Check it out.
The machine was revealed first in Flickr, showing off its conventional pop-up design. The circular shape most robotic cleaners sport do not allow them to access corners, but a pop-out brush on the Smart Tango Corner Clean aims to solve that problem. It’s good to note that Sammy’s device is the first robotic vacuum to have a pop-out brush.
This contraption is packed with camera lens mounted on the front, to support its Visionary Mapping System for navigation. Another feature that will be seen on this machine is a built-in LCD, that works for error code readouts and for programming. Controls are located on top while at the rear is a removable dust bin.
There are no details yet about the price and when it will hit the market, but CES is just around the corner so we would probably see more details about this gizmo. Stay tuned.
