Are you one of those people who has troubles with those swipe gestures? Then you might want to take a closer look at Blackberry’s new baby called the BlackBerry 10.
The unique and amazing feature it boasts is its keyboard which is quite good in predicting a particular output that the user would like to use. RIM has finally been given the patent of a logic-based text prediction which went through a lot of changes before it became the final version they have now. The new patented keyboard apparently predicts the word the user wants to key in next based on “associated frequency” and context.
One example would be common expressions. This is quite a handy application. The patent and the press release of the BlackBerry 10 seems to be a bit different but for all intent and purposes, they are generally the same. RIM wants to make sure that no other entity will be able to release any device of the same technology before they do.
As of this moment, that is the only update we have regarding BlackBerry’s new application. Who knows, perhaps one of these days RIM would file another innovative software for its latest platform. Stay tuned.
