Hardware site Tomshardware has recently posted its review on two of the latest and budget-friendly AMD’s Radeon GPUs. These graphic cards are bound to hit the market and are expected to be sold at around $80 to $100 MSRP.

It is also to be noted that these graphic cards are the evolved models of the Radeon HD 5670 and HD 5570. Hence that the new models are now called as HD 6670 and HD 6570.
Aside from this, the costs of the new graphic cards are more expensive than the previous units. They are also built with improved features such as an increased number in Shader Cores and Texture Units.
On the other hand, the greater advantage falls to the Radeon HD 6670. This graphic card runs at a higher Shader Clock and is packed with more Memory Bandwidth. It also provides a better performance than the Radeon HD 6570.
Specs and Price of both graphic cards are as follows:
Radeon HD 6670
- Shader Cores: 480
- Texture Units: 24
- Color ROPs: 8
- Fabrication Process: 40nm
- Core/Shader Clock: 800MHz
- Memory Clock: 1000MHz GDDR5
- Memory Bus: 128-bit
- Memory Bandwidth: 64GB/s
- Thermal Design Power: 11/60 W
- Price: $79
Radeon HD 6570
- Shader Cores: 480
- Texture Units: 24
- Color ROPs: 8
- Fabrication Process: 40nm
- Core/Shader Clock: 650MHz
- Memory Clock: 900MHz DDR3, 900-1000MHz GDDR5
- Memory Bus: 128-bit
- Memory Bandwidth: 28.8GB/s DDR3, 64GB/s GDDR5
- Thermal Design Power: 10/44 W
- Price: $99
As a wrap-up, the site stated that both graphic cards can work well with HTPC (Home Theatre PCs). But considering the price and performance relativity, the site stated that the HD 6670 may be good but it’s quite expensive. They also stated that the price could go down to $80.
