In the world of high-speed cameras, speed and resolution are the “it” factors largely being considered (cost also comes into the picture). Well, for those who are into capturing events or activities moment by moment might want to have a sneak peek at Vision Research’s two new high-speed digital cameras, the Phantom v1210 and v1610.
According to the company, these two are considered to be the “fastest” 1-megapixel digital high-speed cameras in the market. Now let’s take a closer look at the Phantom v1610 and v1210. The camera is also equipped with 10Gb of Ethernet. The v1610 can also be loaded with 24GB, 48GB or 96GB of high-speed memory. On the other hand, the v1210 also has a 1280×800 resolution and delivers 12,000 fps at full resolution.
