PDF Portable Disc Jockey Demoed At NAMM 2013

PDJ Portable Disc Jockey is a stand-alone portable music controller that has a complete DJ system setup that perfectly fits into a party-like environment. Audiophiles can now bring in good mix of music on the fly with this handy gadget.

This rectangular device has LCD touch screen on both ends with virtual turntable while the mixer and FX can be found at the center. This kind of visual interface is very familiar to DJs. What’s good with this device is its onboard audio interface that allows you to hear and monitor the music mix before flaunting it to your buddies.

The PDF can be connected to computers through USB to recharge while other ports include a Jack audio output, a headphone mini jack, and a microphone. It has 16 beat step sequencer, 8-slot sampler, digital effects, an auto loop function, and 3 bans equalizer. It also has 2GB of internal storage and an SD card slot of up to 32GB for additional storage and an estimate of 12 hours battery life. The device is very handy and light with its 286 grams weight and its being touch-responsive to controls makes a good impression.

Definite shipping date has not been confirmed yet but some are guessing a possible late spring or summer release at an introductory price of $600. A quick demo can be seen in the video below.
