Nokia’s exciting new Camera Extension tool for the Lumia 900 has gone extra creative with the panoramic feature. This app extends its camera capabilities with the following modes: quick burst or rapid multi-shot, self-timer, and smart group shot.

Though it is an app that needs to be installed separately, the camera extension app automaticaly kick in when you use the phone camera as menu options on the lower right hand corner. That’s pretty convenient—just point and shoot with no extra step required.
The quick burst mode takes eight continuous shots. Panoramic shots allow for a composite of up to five photos to make one unforgettable perfect wide-angle view.
The self-timer mode helps make that group shot with you possible. The app gives the phone the power to make five continuous pictures in five seconds, and identify the face of each person. This data is used by the program to choose each person’s best shot, so to speak, and put together one excellent photograph with everyone looking their best.
We’re still waiting for the official release announcement for this app. In the meantime, you may check the series of video clips below to learn more about it.
