If you’re looking for a budget-friendly and functional android powered tablet, then the Nextbook Premium 9 is the best one for you. But don’t belittle this simple yet affordable device as it still packs a couple of interesting features that could pique your interest.

With a 9-inch capacitive touchscreen display, 1280 x 800 resolution, the Nextbook Premium 9 Tablet has a nice overall look and feel. A closer examination under the hood will reveal that this newcomer has a 1GHz processor, 2 MP camera in front, 4-way gravity sensor, OTA capabilities, and a decent 4GB internal memory – which is expandable to up to 32GB through its micro SD card slot.
Connectivity is not a problem with this tablet as it boasts of Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, a mini USB port, and runs on Android 2.3 which will soon be upgradable to the latest Honeycomb OS. Entertainment-wise, it is also up to par as it has built-in speakers and a 1080p video player. The tablet is enclosed with a brushed metal rear and mimics its cousins in terms of simplicity and affordability.
eFun is behind other Nextbook Premium slabs such as the Premium 8 and Premium 7. And although Premium 9 is already available at $299, eFun reps say it will be a lot more affordable at just about $269 when it is officially launched by December of this year.
