When it comes to tablets, Samsung won’t be left behind as well as they are coming out with a powerful one in replacement to their now canceled Samsung Galaxy S III. There is still no name for the said tablet for now, but it sure packs a bunch based on the observations from the last CES 2012 last January.

The next-gen Galaxy Tab slate is said to be introduced in the Mobile World Congress but we already have the specs here. It is said to be powered by a dual-core 2 GHz Exynos 5250 processor that will make the tablet powerful by giving twice the computing power, instant memory bandwidth, 5x graphics horsepower, and an all day of battery life. The processor will also feature ARM’s latest Cortex-A15 CPU core and is built on Samsung’s new 32nm High-K Metal Gate low-power process.

Aside from that, it has a display size of 11 inches with a screen resolution of WXQGA and 2560 x 1600 pixels. It also has an operating system of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich that is best for faster performance, great applications and good multitasking skills. All these specs came out when one of the tech writers saw one of Samsung’s prototype tablets that is powered with the processor mentioned above.

There is no word on the release and price of this upcoming 11-inch Galaxy Tab, though we heard that it will not hit production until the next quarter. The sample of the chips might be out on display at the Mobile World Congress, which just means Samsung is serious in being the first at marketing the A15 CPU. Stay tuned.
