Lenovo has unofficially revealed two of their newest laptop models under ThinkPad – the T431S and the X230S, through the user manuals uploaded to the company’s website The said documents did not show all specs, but somehow, it has given illustrations on how the two products would look like.

The Lenovo ThinkPad T431S and X230S are so far the most different among the other ThinkPad laptops as the two will not showcase its traditional TrackPoint buttons below its keyboards, emphasizing more of its tracking pad as it becomes larger. For the keyboard keys, secondary hotkeys were integrated for adjustment of brightness, volume and the like. Also, another change that has been seen in these two new products is the hinges, wherein pivots will become part of the top panel at the back of the device, similar to the X1 Carbon and Edge ThinkPads.
Other interesting specs for the ThinkPad T431S include a 14-inch core display with resolution of 1,600 x 900, while the ThinkPad X230S has a 12.5-inch core display with 1,366 x 768 pixels of resolution. Since the ThinkPad T431S and X230S were unofficially announced based on the leak brought by its user guides, the release date and retail price remained unknown.
