Best known for its Apple accessories, iFrogz has rapidly expanded their line ever since they were acquired by ZAGG. For CES 2013, the company has unveiled something that gamers with iPhones will surely love – the iFrogz Caliber Advantage.

The iFrogz Caliber Advantage is a game accessory for the iPhone. It’s a very slim but sturdy casing, with a D-pad, two analog sticks, two shoulder buttons and four top buttons. The Caliber Advantage is designed in such a way that it looks and feels like part of the iPhone when it’s attached to it. The magnets on the case turn on when the sides are slid out and turn off after 5 minutes of not being used. Another unique feature of the Caliber Advantage is the analog sticks. While Bluetooth is used to connect to the phone, it’s also used to activate the analog sticks and sync it with another device like an iPad so the game can be launched there.
iFrogz’ Caliber Advantage has caught the eye of different gaming companies like EA and Epic. Some are even considering releasing games on Apple now that a good and reliable analog stick is available in mobile devices, something that gamers would surely appreciate. The Caliber Advantage is expected to roll-out anytime in the first 2 quarters of the year and is pegged at about $70.
