Huawei Ascend D Quad: Specs Update and Release From MWC

Not in the habit of always taking your mobile charger with you?

Then better check out Huawei’s latest smartphone innovation dubbed as Ascend D Quad. It is powered by 1800maH Battery that will last for 1 to 2 days on normal usage compared to the other high end phones. The handset is made of Huawei’s very own quad-core CPU baptised as K3V2 and with its 1.5 GHZ processor; it is regarded as 49% faster than any smartphones in the market to date.

It is built with 4.5 inch display with 330 pixels per inch. Add to that the brilliant, outstanding, and fabulous ultra-thin frame of 64 mm x 8.9 mm thickness and you’ll have a state-of-the art phone in hand; and lightweight too!

Huawei also integrates Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound and Audience earSmart™ for an exceptional listening experience. It is 1 GB RAM and composed of 2 cameras, 8 megapixel rear-facing camera & 1.3 megapixel front camera for video chatting.This breakthrough is 1080p full HD video-capture and playback capabilities for hopeless romantic who loves video recording. It comes in two colours- black and white. And forget about Gingerbread as Ascend D Quad runs in the heaven sent, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich too!

Together with this, Huawei also launches as part of the Ascend D series, another 2 smartphones named Ascend D quad XL and the Ascend D1 smartphones. The Ascend D quad XL is comes with a 2500mAh battery which provides two to three days of normal usage. With the same specifications as the Ascend D quad, the Ascend D quad XL measures 10.9 mm slim. The Ascend D1 runs on a 1.5 GHz dual-core CPU and has a 1670mAh battery.

The Ascend D Quad series will be available in China, Australia, Europe, Asia-Pacific, North and South America, and the Middle East in second quarter of 2012. The Ascend D1 will be available earlier in the above markets from April 2012.

Too bad the prices are yet to be revealed but we definitely inform you once we have the official updates.
