Now that its protracted battle with Apple is over, HTC is continuing with its quest to make its presence felt in the UK market. The Taiwanese company has recently announced that it will be releasing the HTC One SV within the next couple of weeks.
HTC One SV is part of the company’s roster of mid-range Android smartphones. This 4G-enabled handset boasts of a 4.3-inch Super LCD 2 screen and runs on a dual core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage and can be expanded via a microSD card. It will carry the cool Ice Cream Sandwich OS, but whether or not it can be upgraded to the Jelly Bean is still a mystery. This is also a fun phone, with Beats Audio, a 1.6mp front camera and a 5mp rear camera with an F2.0 aperture that can record 1080p videos. The handset is available in Glacier White and Pyrenees Blue colors.
As of this writing, HTC One SV will be carried by EE Network, known for being the first in the UK to have nationwide 4G coverage. There’s no formal announcement yet on how much the One SV will cost. However, HTC is pushing it as a mid-range phone so it should be relatively affordable.
