Genius Unveils Ring Mouse 2 & Ring Presenter At CES, Price Still Hazy


At the recently concluded CES event, Genius unwrapped its ring-looking computer accessories called Ring Mouse 2 and Ring Presenter. Taken from their names alone, the two accessories need to be worn as rings for them to function really well.

Genius has guaranteed a high degree of touch sensor putting 1000 dpi sensor sensitivity in both mouse and presenter. The company also assures standard mouse functions with its Ring Mouse 2. The said pointer is compatible with OS X or Windows operating systems. Likewise, the Ring Presenter promises to perform the functions of scrolling, drum roll, and dragging in the four directions with its left, right and middle buttons. The Presenter also integrates the tasks of a laser pointer in it. Thus, the user can easily steer the cursor with a thumb.

The Ring Mouse 2 and Ring Presenter are both wireless. They use a 2.4GHz USB connection that enable the user to operate the pointer as long as within a radius of about three meters. Official announcements with regards to the price of the Ring Mouse 2 and Ring Presenter are still not available. However, reports said that some are expecting a tag of about $50. Also, their date of availability are still to be awaited.
