HP is planning to develop a fanless Intel Haswell tablet for this year. See details.

When it comes to computer technology, HP is considered to be one of the leading innovators in the industry. This year HP might release a fanless Haswell tablet which is believed to be a big hit. This technological leap made by HP is another opportunity for the tech manufacturer.

But what is Haswell? It is Intel’s new energy efficient processor. Actually, it’s the 4th generation Intel processor which was developed to process computer data with lowest power consumption. The process of developing Haswell processors includes the same 22-nanometer fabrication like its predecessor, Ivy Bridge. The result is a microchip that has better performance and more power efficient.

No specific details were given about the fanless slate but it is speculated that HP will use heat sinks to replace conventional cooling fans to channel heat away from the processor core. This is the first time we’ve heard of Intel Core processor being used in a tablet device.

The collaboration of HP to Intel is a sign that HP is in its way to vindicate its name over tablet manufacturing. Given a powerful processor, HP can surely go back in to the competition. HP Haswell tablets will surely give its users the satisfaction they deserved. Battery hours are extended to 9 hours with a standby time of 13 hours.

HP’s Haswell tablet is expected to be unveiled later this year.

Google's new facial recognition patent involves facial expressions that could be used as passwords. See how it works.

Who would imagine that your facial reactions would be part of your android’s security system? Yes, the new patent by Google suggests that users may use facial expressions like frowning, wacky smiling and a forehead wrinkling.

The new patent works by reviewing two images and comparing the differences if it matches to the registered images in the unit. Since Google was the first to implement this process of face-unlock system in Android ICS phones, the innovations to further improve the security of their units.

However, Google admits that the innovation is not enough and it needs further development such as including laser beams to flash in the face of the user to process reactions of the users from the rays of light. Additionally, a 3D program that can detect face contours could possibly be utilized for future use. In other words, there will be a sophisticated way android users could enjoy their units in full security.

Although this technology has been already rumoured last year, the patent filing for this program has just been processed by Google this middle this year. With this technological advancement, it is possible to wink at your phone before you could possibly use it.

Before Samsung launches the Galaxy S IV, a wireless charging kit is already made available for public viewing.

Samsung’s forthcoming flagship device, the Galaxy S IV, is much-anticipated by everyone in the tech community. But before the official launch happens, the tech company has already posted a custom wireless charger kit. The mechanism of this Galaxy S4 charger promotes the minimalistic usage of the phone energy by avoiding energy loss from the conventional wired charging.

The kit includes the back cover for the phone and a wireless charging pad. Well, it adds a little bulkiness to the unit considering the extra thickness of the phone cover. However, if it provides convenience while charging, then who would mind? It works like any Qi wireless chargers so consumers who previously purchased a charging pad only need to get the back cover. At the same time, you can also purchase the GS4 wireless charging kit and use the charging pad for other mobile devices.

This wireless charger can be of used most especially during night time when you are resting. Unlike, wired charging, phones charged wirelessly can be detached to its charger anytime without stopping the charging process.

There are rumours that Samsung gives away discount on wireless pads if you register your S4 to them. That would be a great if Samsung will officially release that statement. As for the moment, all we can wish for is for third parties manufacturer to produce a Qi-certified wireless charger for Samsung S4.

The Galaxy S4 wireless charger cannot be purchased (nor pre-ordered) at the moment. The whole package costs $90 ($50 for the charging pad and $40 for the battery cover).

The elusive Nokia EOS with astonishing camera hardware was leaked with several different colors.

Accept the fact that Nokia once captured the mobile phone industry for decades. It was there innovative strategy that made the company the leading manufacturer of mobile phones. From the classic mobile phones of early 2000s to the latest Lumia 920, Nokia proved to all cellphone lovers that it will still have the capability to compete against the famous brands in the market.

The alleged phone is currently dubbed as the Nokia EOS which was earlier reported in the past few months. The phone is allegedly a mix of Lumia 920 and Pureview 808 – the symbian powered handset with astonishing 41-megapixel camera spec. The Windows Phone 8 handset is believed to have a 4.5-inch touchscreen panel, 1280 x 768 pixel resolution, lighter polycarbonate body, compact flash and lens plus the new Nokia Pro camera app.

The rumour started when the pictures of what is believed to be the casing of Lumia 920 with a large camera accommodation were seen online Although it looks like illegitimate, the casings which are available in three colors are concrete proofs that Nokia is on something bigger.

However, Nokia lovers are a little skeptical about its OS. If it will still under Symbian, this phone will totally be out of the completion. In other words, Nokia lovers are expecting that this smartphone will run under Windows Phone 8 as expected.

As for now, all we can wish for is for Nokia to release it officially – perhaps in July or August we’ll probably get our answers.

Call this phone anorexic! The thinnest phone in the planet will be released on the 18th of June this year. After struggling to be on the top, Huawei has once again prove to the mobile phone industry that it got what it takes to be on the top list of technological innovation. The new Huawei Ascend P6 has a body figure of just 6.18 mm and a 4.7 inches HD display. Can you imagine that?

Now, you might be asking about its durability and performance. This unit will be run by the latest technology that comes with 2GB RAM, a quad-core 1.5GHz processor, 8GB internal storage, dual card slot, Android 4.3 OS, NFC, Bluetooth and Wifi. Some will definitely be astonished on how Huawei would install these powerful hardware in a phone that is just 6.2 mm. Well, don’t be surprise yet, because a 5 megapixel camera is still included in the package.

However, everybody knows that you could not have both size and power. So, skeptics are a little bit worried about its battery life. However, leaked information revealed that Huawei will have a powerful battery to supplement the power needed by its screen and processor. With available colors in black, white and pink, the Ascend P6 smartphone is worth a wait until it will be released in the market. Price details will come in time.

Lenovo surprised everyone when it launched its new baby, the Lenovo Ideapad Y510p.

The new innovation especially on its 15.6-inch screen will surely make gamers enjoy the HD potentiality of this computer. The newly installed HD matte, anti-glare screen is one of the few things replaced by the company from its predecessor laptops.

Aside from the powerful HD performance, this notebook is astonishingly built to please gamers and also to those computer lovers who are used to computers with high storage capacity. The 1TB 5400 RPM hard disk together with its 8.0GB DDR3L RAM is being run by 4th Generation (Haswell) Intel Core i7-4700MQ Processor (2.40GHz 1600MHz 6MB).

Well, its simplicity in design can be sufficed by its loaded hardware specifications that can reasonably compete to its rival brands. Aside from its powerful specs on board, the IdeaPad Y510p is believed to have a battery that can last up to 7 hours thanks to its 6-cell Lithium ion battery. High-end configurations are available for buyers including an additional 24GB SSD for its 1TB HDD, additional GPU, RAM upgrade and Blu-ray drive add-on.

With its reasonable price (starting at $989), let us wait if this computer will make a market in the computer industry. Avide buyers may visit Lenovo’s site for price of other configurations.

Fujitsu unleashed new ultrabook model, the UH90 with Haswell specs.

Branded as the thinnest ultrabook PC in the world, the new Fujitsu Lifebook UH90 will be tentatively released on June 7 in Japan. It is the successor to the company’s UH75 ultrabook and an addition to Fujitsu’s FMV device series.

This new Fujitsu device is equipped with a 14-inch IGZO liquid crystal display that could literally produce near-real images quantifiable into 3200 x 1800 pixels resolution. The brilliant display would not be possible without the new 1.6GHz Intel Haswell Core i5 processor installed in it. And, don’t forget the 500 GB hybrid HDD which give users enough storage in their CPU and speed at the start-up of the computer. And with its 0.61 inch thick and powerful hardware inside, Lifebook UH90 will definitely catch a market in the industry.

Although there is no specific date when US buyers could purchase this astonishing notebook, Japanese on the other hand can buy this unit on June 28 after the regulation of its price.

With all the latest netbooks and laptops released this year, Fujitsu Lifebook UH90 should definitely play the right price for their customers. We just hope that this unit is just as durable as its predecessor laptops that Fujitsu made. As for the moment, what we can do is wait until this computer device will be reviewed by its users.

Sprint and ZTE will release a high-end Android phone called Vital. See leaked specs.

US carrier Sprint is rumored to be prepping a high-end smartphone that will be released to its subscribers very soon. According to an anonymous source, Sprint will have a new flagship from ZTE. The new ZTE Vital addresses the need of the network to reach the demand of the consumers for 4G LTE.

It looks like ZTE cannot afford to be left behind in the competition of smart phones. The latest ZTE Vital is believed to be equipped with 5 inch HD screen, dual-core processor powered by 1GB RAM. And, don’t forget that it has a powerful 13 – megapixel rear camera and 8GB internal storage which is expandable through micro SD.

Though the battery life is a little bit classic, ZTE Vital is powered by a NFC and a healthy 2,500mAh battery. Looking into the software that will run this device, it is expected to run in Android Jelly Bean version 4.1. The best thing about this device is that it will run on Sprint’s 4G LTE network.

The sneak peek of this product does not specify the hardware used in this device. Hence, the marketability of this device is not yet established compared to its rival like HTC and Samsung S4. Nonetheless, if ZTE will price this device right, it may have a chance to have a place in the competition.
