Bethesda Softworks took the wraps off to finally unveil Dishonored. The media company will be the publisher of the new first-person action game developed by Arkane Studios. The game is Arkane’s first project since they were acquired by ZeniMax in 2010.
Dishonored is the brainchild of Raphael Colantino and Harvey Smith. So expect this game to be top-notch and take you to the edge of your seats. The game is slated for release under Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Currently the game has been inviting a swarm of discussions from game critics. The game will be featured on the next issue of Game Informer which says that the game is about “assassination where you don’t have to kill anyone,” among other things. The magazine will ship on newsstands this coming July 15th and will be available for subscribers this July. The coverage of the game will also be featured on their website.
One of the creators, Colantino said, “At Arkane we have a passion for creating deep, immersive game experiences,”. The game is about infiltration and you can set-up traps to slaughter a whole garrison of aristocrat’s mansion instead of trying to sneak in.
