It seems that Deus Ex: Human Revolution would soon come knocking on our doors, as the game is now its final phase of development. Human Revolution is a prequel to Deus Ex 1, 25 years before it all started.

The lead character is Adam Jensen, a security guard at a company that does human augmentation. On one of his night patrols at Sarif Industries, he encounters an attack, only to leave him barely alive. He does survive, only to be turned into a semi-cyborg. Human Revolution is not just to pick up where Deus Ex left, but to dig deep as to how it all started. Before nanotechnologies, they opted to focus on more mechanical human augmentations.
It will be available on three consoles: PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. Don’t worry about platform limitations while playing on PC, as Eidos Montreal made sure that the controls will be altered to give a more natural feel when using a computer.
Deus Ex is not your common hit-and-complete mission type of games, as you’d need firepower, stealth and the social aspects to go with it. The game is narrative-inclined, so prepare for a linear game play focusing on a single story. This doesn’t make things half bad, only more interesting. It will be released on the 1st or 2nd quarter of 2011 at the rate of $59.99.

Release date is "from Q2 2011". Hopefully will be announced today (press embargo day) and is expected to appear w/b 22 April.
