BlackBerry Z10 Coming to AT&T & Best Buy In US


The long wait is over! US-based carrier AT&T has announced that the very first BlackBerry 10-powered smartphone, the Blackberry Z10, is available for pre-order starting on March 12 and can be purchased online and in stores on March 22.

Z10 features a 4.2-inch touch-screen that has a high-resolution display. It boasts of an 8-megapixel camera that is capable of recording a 1080p HD clip. The camera also has a Time Shift feature that makes snapping of photos easier as it captures images before and after pressing the shutter.

Well, BlackBerry 10 is dubbed as the re-designed, re-engineered and re-invented BlackBerry platform which provides the users of such different features that guarantee faster and thus better mobile device services. These include the BlackBerry Hub which acts as a central location for emails and conversations, the well-loved BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) for sharing contents with loved ones, the BlackBerry Story Maker that allows users put together images and turn such to a beautiful presentation, the BlackBerry Balance technology which secures the business-related content of the handset whenever connected to BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10.

The said phone is also the first Blackberry handset to support the nation’s fastest 4G LTE network covering some 288 million people, the AT&T’s 4G LTE network. Z10 was originally given a price tag of $249.99 but now it is selling for $199.99 with a two-year contract agreement. Meanwhile, Best Buy said that it will likewise take Z10 pre-orders beginning March 12th. Verizon Wireless and T-Mobile USA are also selling the smartphone.
