As CES 2013 event in Las Vegas is getting closer, manufacturers are slowly giving its audience a tease on their release. ASUS made the same strategy, too, but not through leaking of photos online. Asus Zenbook Touch U500VZ has made its debut online when it appeared at ASUS’ website having this description: “World’s first full high-definition IPS panel on Ultrabook”, complete with hardware and software specifications.

It is a 15-inch full-sized ultrabook with a full touch panel, unibody metal, thin, and lightweight that makes it comfortably portable. It boasts of its design, speed, performance, visuals, audio quality, and touch screen capability. This is indeed mobility at its finest.
Specifications-wise, it is built on an Intel Core i7-3632QM processor, a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M graphics processor, dual 256GB SSDs, 1080p IPS display using the IPS technology for the full HD touch screen, ASUS SonicMaster audio, with HD camera, and running on a Windows 8 operating system.
As of press time, there is no pricing and availability information revealed though it might be unveiled on CES next week. Asus is teasing us first with what the quality of product it can offer to feast our eyes before convincing if the price is a great match to compensate it.
