Asus has recently announced its new 7-Inch Memo Pad with details of its specifications posted on YouTube. With the much awaited release comes with an increasing anticipation since Asus has not yet announced the date of its release. Although speculations arise, the company confirms that the product still exists and will be available in the market soon.

Some features of this product were said to be derived from Nexus 7. It has a long battery life with 7 hours of use, 7-inch display with 1024 x 600 resolution and 1 MP camera. Its 1 GHz single-core processor is good enough for games and internet browsing. It also has a storage expansion through microSD up to 32GB unlike the Nexus 7 which has no storage expansion. It runs on an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and has interesting apps like SuperNote Lite, ASUS Studio, MyPainter and Buddy Buzz. This budget-friendly memo pad has multiple fun designs in diamond checkers with vivid colors to choose from: Pink, White or Gray.
The 7-inch Asus Memo Pad is said the be the next best thing to Google Nexus 7. It is set to be a cheaper version of Nexus 7 with standard specifications as derived from the latter. The average price of Nexus 7 is $200 while the new Memo Pad can be purchased at only $150. The only awaited information is its date of release.
